By accessing or using the Lumina Research Labs website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this website or purchase any products.
2. Research Use Only — Critical Notice
All peptides, compounds, and research chemicals sold by Lumina Research Labs are:
- Sold exclusively for in vitro laboratory research purposes
- Not approved by the FDA or any regulatory authority for human or animal use
- Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition
- Not for sale to individuals under the age of 21
- Not for resale without prior written authorization
By purchasing, you certify that you are a qualified research professional or purchasing on behalf of a legitimate research institution, and that the products will be used exclusively for lawful scientific research.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase from this website. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are at least 21 years old and are purchasing for lawful research purposes only.
By placing an order, you further agree that: (a) the statements you have provided regarding your research qualifications and intended use are true and factual; (b) you consent to IP address verification, request for authentication of information provided, and other verification methods Lumina Research Labs may employ in its sole discretion to validate the information you have provided; and (c) Lumina Research Labs reserves the right to cancel any order at any time if false information has been provided, and you indemnify and hold Lumina Research Labs harmless for any harm caused by using products outside of in vitro, non-human, research-use-only guidelines as defined by the FDA.
Lumina Research Labs reserves the right to request proof of institutional or research affiliation before fulfilling any order. Failure to provide such proof upon request may result in order cancellation and a full refund.
4. Orders and Payment
All orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including orders from jurisdictions where the ordered compounds may be restricted. Prices are in USD and are subject to change without notice.
We accept payment via Venmo, Cash App, and Apple Cash as indicated at checkout. Payment is due within 48 hours of order placement. Orders for which payment has not been received within 48 hours will be automatically cancelled and any reserved inventory released. We are not responsible for delays in order fulfillment caused by late or incomplete payment.
You are solely responsible for ensuring your payment is sent to the correct handle/address as specified in your order confirmation email. Payments sent to incorrect recipients cannot be recovered by us and are not our liability.
5. Shipping and Delivery
We ship to the continental United States only (48 states). We ship Monday through Saturday; we do not ship on Sundays. Orders ship same day when ordered before 3:00 PM MT (Mountain Time). Orders placed after 3:00 PM MT, or on Sunday, ship the next available shipping day. Multiple shipping options are available at checkout: Standard (3–5 business days), Priority (1–3 business days), and Express (1–2 business days). We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or weather events. Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery to the carrier. See our Shipping Policy for full details.
6. Returns and Refunds
Due to the nature of research chemicals and for safety reasons, all sales are final. We do not accept returns. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at the email address on our contact page. We will investigate and, at our discretion, offer a replacement or store credit.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and product descriptions, is the property of Lumina Research Labs and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Products are provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We make no representations regarding the suitability, accuracy, or completeness of any product information.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumina Research Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or website, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
10. Prohibited Uses
You expressly agree NOT to:
- Purchase, possess, or use our products for human or animal consumption, therapeutic use, or any purpose other than lawful in vitro scientific research
- Resell or redistribute our products as dietary supplements, therapeutics, or drugs
- Make any health, therapeutic, or medical claims in connection with our products
- Use our products in any jurisdiction where they are prohibited or restricted without complying with all applicable laws
- Purchase on behalf of or supply to any individual who intends to use the products for non-research purposes
- Circumvent our age verification system or provide false information to gain access
Unapproved and improper uses of these products constitute a breach of FDA law and a violation of these Terms and Conditions. Any such violation shall result in immediate termination of your customer account and may be reported to appropriate authorities. The statements on this website and products have NOT been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Using these products in humans or animals can cause serious injury.
11. Compliance with Laws
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your purchase, possession, and use of our products complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Certain compounds may be restricted or prohibited in your jurisdiction — including but not limited to specific states that have enacted restrictions on research chemicals or peptide compounds. It is your responsibility to verify the legality of each product in your jurisdiction before ordering. We reserve the right to refuse shipment to any state or jurisdiction where we have reason to believe applicable law prohibits or restricts the product.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lumina Research Labs LLC and its members, officers, employees, affiliates, and agents from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use or misuse of our products or website; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; (d) your violation of any rights of any third party; or (e) any unauthorized use of our products for human consumption or therapeutic purposes.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any legal action or proceeding not subject to arbitration under Section 14 shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cache County, Utah, and you hereby consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in such courts.
14. Dispute Resolution — Binding Arbitration
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, or the use of the website or products (collectively, "Disputes"), shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitration shall take place in Cache County, Utah, or remotely if agreed by both parties.
The arbitrator shall have exclusive authority to resolve all Disputes, including whether a Dispute is subject to arbitration. The arbitrator's award shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Exceptions: Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent infringement of intellectual property or misuse of confidential information.
15. CLASS ACTION AND JURY TRIAL WAIVER
YOU AND LUMINA RESEARCH LABS LLC EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, CLASS ARBITRATION, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. All claims must be brought on an individual basis only. You may not consolidate your claims with those of any other person or entity.
16. Force Majeure
Lumina Research Labs shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, government action, carrier delays, or supply chain disruptions. In such events we will notify you as soon as practicable and resume performance when the event is resolved.
17. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lumina Research Labs regarding your use of our website and products, and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
18. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Your continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
